Cant think of a Good name for case

Feel Free to share possible names for this one

Its been a while since ive had a worklog and it will probably be a long ongoing project. But im gonna start throwing them out now. I wanted a case that would hold a ton of stuff like a car stereo and water cooling and anything else i wanted to add to it. It also needs to be able to hold a cagillion fans. I looked at the Mozzart from thermaltake and a couple others but couldn't bear to spend a couple hundred on a case i was gonna chop up. Then i got to thinking about how i could spend less on the case and spend a couple hundred on mod materials. So i decided to go with a giant server case off ebay for 25.99. Thanks to grez pointing me in the right direction, The colors in mind are a orange with metalic flakes for exterior and black with metalic flakes for interior. gonna have some blue led's. But on to the pics.


In The front i was thinking about puting the antec 5.25 cages with the fans on the top and doing the prop fan mod on the bottom with another 120


Ill be honest, except for painting i dont know what i am gonna do here


For the side panel i was gonna try and work some 120's in here and incorporate this image in the corner of the side panel



I dont know what i am gonna do exactly to make the inside pop but im sure i will there. i was thinking about putting the side panels on french henges and having them swing open

And yes most of you are wondering how much this case will weigh when done and im projecting around 100lbs. Feel free to leave thoughts ideas about the project. Always looking at things for new ideas

Well with all the extra space up top you can fit every single drive, all of your watercooling stuff, psu and more. Your lower section with motherboard can be super clean. If you can keep light from bleeding between upper and lower chambers, why don't you try illuminating them with different colors? You didn't say what you were thinking for case windows.

EL CACAGUANO it is!!!!!!!!!! or not. but nice try lol. i don't think my girl would like me spending money on a case and then naming it dung.

but for the window i was thinking of using that sun moon image and have it be in the bottom right corner and put the window ontop of it. I never though of doing the case in two different colors. hmmmmm gears are turning. Blue and orange are sounding really good right now

im not sure if the side panel window will be the only window but i dont know where else i would put the window

UPDATE!!!!!

I started installing the hinges on the case and i ran into a couple problems. I just need to shave some off the side panel and then i should have pics by the end of this weekend

Keep in mind where this case is going to be, and the fact that you are very likely going to be using it for as long as current motherboards styles can fit in that case, with as much time as you are investing into this.

If it's going to be somewhere like your living room, don't paint it with colors you could get sick of in time to come - give it some pleasant, but neutral tones to fit in with your living room colors. If it's something like a bedroom, go straight ahead and make it as loud as you can :). But trust me, if you make it loud & it goes in the living room, you will get tired of it.

Blues, and in particular light blues, are a psychologically soothing color, but when paired with orange, that can be psychologically agitating. Color psychology is a fun little branch of the field :D.

its going in my room for sure. i throw my media server in the front room on the plasma. so i dont think that the colors are gonna be bad.
