Personally, I'd ditch the 790i and go with the 780i instead. I've heard bad stories about the 790i.

Everything else seems cool to me

Ya i have been reading the reviews for the 790i and its like a 50/50 review, some people have problems some dont. ill go check out the 780i.

if i go with the 780i ill have to change the ram from ddr3 to ddr2. i heard there was a big improvement with ddr3, but i if i do ill just get 8GB of (G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) ) cuz most 780I boards only support ddr2 800.

Is ddr3 even worth it yet, i heard most ddr3 and mobos that support it are kinda fritzy, am i better off with the evga 780i and my lovely 8gb of ddr2 istead of the 790i and 4gb of ddr3?

**EDIT** well im going to stick with the 790i, im up for a test of my skill. switched up the ram tho. Here is a pic of my order atm, just looking over once more.

i should be placing the order fairly soon.

EDIT** the picture get small as hell for some reason so ill just type.

Sound Card - Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer
Ram - Patriot Viper 4gb (2x2gb) 240pin DDR3 1333 (PC10666)

!!!!ORDER PLACED!!!! should be here on thursday or firday. pics soon.
