| Re: Project: Epic Spider Ok, well, this would've been an update with new pictures and everything, but Koolance decided they wanted signature on delivery, and since I was not home today, I couldn't sign for it. So, tomorrow I will be up and ready for UPS to come so I can get my new 3/8" Dual Loop setup going. Peace, The Jesus. |

| Re: Project: Epic Spider Umm, well, after quite awhile working, I am stopping for the night.
I got everything tubed, hooked in, all those shenanigans, except for the new pump/reservoir that I still have to mount and plug the tubes into(but that's easy). So, I just gotta do that and then I get to start the fun of filling the reservoirs again and running the pumps then filling again, then running, etc. etc. But it should be done by tomorrow.
I'll get some pictures up when it's done.
Peace, The Jesus. |

| Re: Project: Epic Spider Well, once again I have to delay the pictures and finalization to this project, seeing how the geniuses of Patriot Memory informed me that I had to heat my ram and then pull off the heat spreaders, yet, when I attempted to do so, guess what, the chips came off with it. So now I have 3 sticks of RAM that don't work and 1 that I could use but would be pointless. So, I have to wait until friday for the new sticks of ram that don't have heatspreaders to arrive. Luckily those were the only things I have lost so far.
I did tube the second loop; Pump/Reservoir > Video Cards > Radiator > Pump/Reservoir. It uses a green UV reactive coolant, instead of the red I had before, but the other loop will be red, yet it all looks pretty much bluish purple due to the tubing, lol. It works well to my knowledge, other then the bubbles that have formed from something I do not know of. Anyone know what could be forming these stupid little bubbles?
So yeah, Friday, new pictures, assuming I can set it up in time to upload them before I leave for my dad's house. It's definitely looking pretty sick though. |

| Re: Project: Epic Spider doesn't removing the heatspreader void the warranty of the memory?
You don't need to watercool the ram. If you really want to cool it, get one of those corsair/ocz ram coolers. |

| Re: Project: Epic Spider Yeah, I knew it voided the warranty, but who cares?
I wanted to liquid cool the RAM cause it looked tight as **** on Koolance's site, and from my mock-up so far, it looks even better. Also, with liquid cooling I can over-volt and overclock the RAM to ridiculous amounts :).
Anyways, I have finished the liquid cooling for the time being, I just gotta wait until UPS delivers my new heatspreader-less RAM. It looks pretty cool so far, a little too bright compared to what I thought it would look like, but still cool. I am actually tempted to sell this and upgrade to a new setup, lol. I'm taking offers if anyone wants it, lmao.
Peace, The Jesus. |

| Re: Project: Epic Spider Hooray, I got it all tubed up, not all the RAM in yet, but I thought I would give you all a teaser. |
