| I'm thinking none...this is a "for-Xox" project, if I remember correctly, so this case should be up for sale on Xoxide at some point. |

| Too bad it's crazy expensive. There's one up for sale, $799 for one empty case. No one has bought it ever since. If I was filthy rich, I would go for it.. Unfortunately, I'm filthy poor. |

| Indeed, I can't see anyone ever payhing more than $250 for a case unless it is already fully water cooled or set up for silent cooling like those Zalman heatpipe cases. These cases are cool, but I can't believe they expect to get this much money out of them. |

| Yeah, but considering the cost of parts and the compensation required for the many, many hours of labor that goes into these things, it's probably still undervalued. If you want to pay a mass-produced price, you'll get a mass-produced look, i.e., mainstream and relatively generic. That's ok if it's what you want (and most people do -- that's why it's called mainstream). But, for those who desire something above-and-beyond, that's where a case like this comes in.
It's the same thing with custom cars, motorcycles, etc...you pay a lot more to get something completely custom. If you just want regular nice, you pay a regular price. If you want one-of-a-kind, then you'd better be prepared to pony up the cashola. And War Machine is truly one-of-a-kind. High roller will be too.
Also remember, the first Xox/Kikboxes case that went up for sale lasted less than 24 hours. And it sold for the "on-sale" price of $500 (regular price was $800). Remember, they fully realize this is for a niche market...that's why only one of each case gets built, not 5000.

| If i had the money, i would buy this case, but it's too expensive for my budget.
I might get one of my cases painted by Kixboxes.com as soon as i can save up my money. I'm broke right now. |

I'm broke right now. | We are working on an alternative method for getting these one-of-a-kind case out to the public. The plan is give every buyer at every budget an equal chance of snagging a totally custom case. Quote:

| Depends on the mods I guess. This project and the war machine took me about 20 hours each. |

| Okay, just a little update on the High Roller. I am currently clear coating the doors and should have some pictures posted soon. The clear coat will help protect the panels from scratching. The aluminum is pretty delicate after it's been polish and the clear coat will allow for buffing out scratches.
I am also laser etching the Kikboxes and Xoxide logos into the window panel. Both of these items should be completed soon so I can get down to reassembly. |

| Case Feet I feel like this project deserves some distinctive case feet. I found these nickle plated feet in the trash bin outside a Pottery Barn store. They are actually brackets that attach to the wall to hang a towel bar. I snagged 4 of them and removed the rest of the hardware that was attached. I also have the nickle plated bars that I will be able to use on future projects.
They are going to had a little bling to the bottom of the case that should balance what I have going on on the top front and side of the project.
I now have the front doors back and have the final photo shoot schedule for Wednesday night of this week.:thumb: |
