Default Project Fishtank *in progress*

OK, so here was my design template

since case was ALREADY black all i needed to do is make it shiny, however the first order is to do the cutting.

now the idea is, when this case is turned off the only thing you will see is a...basicaly black mirror so i used smoked plexiglass, the first step is cutting and fitting.

and of course that grey font part just won't do!

some of theses pics already have other mods already done to them (because i forgot to take pics the whole time oops) the switches control my UV lights inside. ALSO the smoked plexi top NEEDED a top exhaust. im running P4 in this thing so i need all the colling i can get!!

time to do some basic testing of lighting

Now one thing i had always wanted on one of my mods was ground lighting! an it just so happened that i had bought mirrored plexi! not for THIS reason of course. I had originally imagined a mirror in the bottom of my case but i finaly decided upon this

quick light test.

this of course being the setup

attachment? $5 in screws nuts and washers from Wal-mart and the standard case feet holes on my case

and an extra whole drilled so i could bring the cables into the case

ahh the cooling has arrived

putting it all back together

Now alot of pictures were overlooked. more can be found at... Fishtank Mod - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
and will get more "finishingup pictures there soon. some pics of side panels, light testings withe the smoked plexi! so please enjoy and COMMENT Recommendations PLEASE!! for my next mod. i will post some of my previous mods on photobucket soon. for some others you may check out my xanga! Mad_modder_Of_MIGHT's Xanga Site
Thanks much!

Dude that "underglow" effect is effin awesome!! would look better (imho) if you wouldve gotten bigger feet that could clear the CCFLs and still leave room under the case then hooked the CCFLs onto the bottom of the case so you dont have the "frame" under the case

Time for an Update! ok, so ive just attached the smoked plexi that i used for side window. plz pardon fuzziness of pics. for SOME reason the camera cant handle the awesomeness of the mod. lol it looks sooooooo much nicer in person

i wanted two fans running through my radiator but i couldnt decide whether i wanted 2 blues or 1 blue 1 green. i finaly decided on 2 blues

and the Mirrored plexi for the bottom mounting spot for the green CCFLs is doing NICELY

So the Only thing to do now is mod the right side panel and put some crap in the front of the PC to fix the gaping holes. 1 5.25" bay and 1 3.5" bay
----------
please give suggestions for Right side panel!!!! im needing some brain storming here! ive got ONE idea but we'll see if it goes through
