| Jason is correct. The emphasis on this project will be more on mods rather than painting. I am trying to be a frugal has possible in my design and selection of parts however, bad parts make bad mods and there are some things I will not compromise on.
The gun barrel is a cool idea but it may be a bit over the top for this project. |

| ^thats actually not a bad idea
And this is also over the top, but what about incorporating to old glass front of a cockpit from a plane from that time period into the top of the case? |

| This is one hell of an amazing case, and having seen the case in person, and heard Stu talk about it, I am jealous of whoever gets the final product. He has some great ideas, and will come up with even more as the final parts fall into place. |

| Great work so far. It will be interesting to see how the ring works. It doesn't look like copper? The polycarbonate goes behind the mesh? You are using mesh for both sides of the case? (will there be windows on both sides?) |

The mesh goes on the back side of the panel and the poly goes on the front side of the panel and yes, there will be a window on both sides of the case.

| Sweet work as always, Stu. The logo is great...it combines the elements that you're looking for without being obnoxious or over-the-top. It really shows off your thought to design. Nice. Looking forward to the rest! |

| Nice work so far Stu, the logo came out great! I also like your choice of mesh; it fits the project very well. I believe your going for a worn with new add-ons kind of look, have you figured out lighting yet? Specifically color. Purple or blue lighting might fit the case decently; maybe with a well placed red accent. Quote: |

Will you be able to do any back lighting of the acrylic like this, or were you not planning on do so?
By the way, love the blow hole ring. |

| I am still working on my plans for the lighting. I proabably won't committ on the lights until the finish is complete. The finish is very experimental so I want to make sure that the lights I select compliment the finish.
I am not planning to backlight anything on this project. |

| Stu, the case is looking awesome. I really like the look, I think the old mixed with the new is a great idea. I can't wait to see this baby when it's finished |
