| Re: Water block for ATI 3600 Well I am just learning, so I didn't know there was a difference. I have read a lot of tutorials and inspected a lot of products and read reviews, but still have much to learn.
What do you recomend and do you have any FAQs you can refer me to about vid water blocks? I have had a hard time finding good up close pictures of anything other than CPU blocks. Very few vid blocks, and none of them actually on the card. |

| Re: Water block for ATI 3600 I like full cover blocks because they cool the RAM as well. Some people believe that it's overkill and you can just use some good RAM sinks, but hell, I've got an 8800 Ultra that retailed for $700 when I got it. I'd rather be safe than sorry. |

| Re: Water block for ATI 3600 Any reason you're watercooling such a low end card? |

| Re: Water block for ATI 3600 Yeah, my AC died and the room temp caused a problem on my even lower end PC. With AC costing minimum $4K to fix, I'll wait until spring to do it. But I want to protect my PCs. |

| Re: Water block for ATI 3600 Well, I'd suggest you look into setting up some room fans to vent hot air.
Water cooling wont make your system temps go below ambient, so your stuff is at least as hot as your room.
The reason you're having troubles finding a water block, is mostly because GPU blocks are usually made for high end cards.
I'd look into a good universal GPU cooler instead. |

| Re: Water block for ATI 3600 The radiator will be in a room that is much cooler. I have an existing port thru the wall under the desk to that room. It *might* require an extra two feet of tubing.
In any case I am seeing that a generic water block is all I will find. |
