| Re: Asus Vs. Sapphire Sapphire hands down. They are ATi's premier partner, i believe one of four. Meaning they work with ATi during the development. Ive had 3 of their cards and wouldnt own anything else. Warranties are for $#!77y products. If you take care of your stuff, itll last. If you abuse it, good luck. Dont believe me, ill show my last cell phone thats two years old and only has one blemish from a drop.
After looking at all three, get the Sapphire, the HIS doesnt even cover the RAM...after closer look, neither does the ASUS. |

I was pretty attracted to the ASUS Quad Heat-Pipe But Sapphire Has the full Ram Cover and yes I do have knowledge that sapphire works Co with ATI on their developments so I'm guessing I will go with the Sapphire, Thank You! (btw why is Ruby On Sapphire products... well... technically its their only character? But... it wouldnt hurt making a sapphire Character???) |

| Re: Asus Vs. Sapphire everything has the nature to break over time, whether or not there is abuse. just normal wear and tear can occur. i was just given a compaq computer yesterday where in this situation the motherboard just suddenly died, and if it was still under warranty I'd have it rma'd. as for between asus or sapphire, i'm an nvidia fan myself so I have no previous experience, except for the one X1800XT i tried to rma, and ati was a REAL pain about it. My video card now has a hassle-less lifetime warranty. Like I said before, peace of mind.
jesus, either card you get I still wouldnt stick with the stock cooler, get a HR-03 and apply some AS5. |

| Re: Asus Vs. Sapphire Hmmmm, posting a question while already making up their mind what the answer is going to be? Then spending the rest of the posts arguing about why their answer is correct?
I think this thread really has no reason to exist. |
