| Judah's Trade Stop Ok, so I have an over-abundance of tech-related items. So...this is where I'm going to post said stuff. Unless otherwise noted, please don't offer money on anything (unless noted that you can) - I review for a few companies here and there and FTC regs don't allow me to sell the items I receive to review. Trading is a-ok, and I enjoy barter a lot more anyway! Please excuse me while I list several boxes of stuff….this list will update. 1) Vantec Nexstar HX 3.5" Enclosure (Silver version, link) 2) Vantec Nexstar MX Dual-bay RAID Enclosure (link) 3) EDUP Pico Wi-Fi Adapter 4) Samsung 20GB SSD (H576H) 5) Satechi Bluetooth Receiver
In a few days when my new hardware comes in, I will have: 6) Intel Q6600 Quad Core Processor
7) 2x2GB Mushkin Silverline DDR2
8) Intel DG33TL Motherboard 9) Apple Pro Keyboard (White) 10) Apple Pro Keyboard (black and silver)
Things I'm looking for:
2.5" SATA Hard Drives
Computer Cases
mini-ITX Components
Blu-Ray DVD Drive
etc.

Aside from that, I'm open to anything really. Components, modding supplies....that sort of thing. Let me know in general terms what you have when you have time...
(Just nothing with LEDs...I've spent the last few years replacing every LED-containing device I won with low-brightness white LEDs...it's possibly a sign of madness, but there you go.) |

I have a crap load of LED strips right now lol, red, yellow, white and UV and a bit of blue. Some waterproof some not. Can't really think of what else other than something I could make from plexi, but not on the laser cutter till that gets fixed. |

The plexi actually might be a good trade...I have a couple of things in mind. I'm going to PM you in a little once I've thought of some things, thanks! |

| Re: Judah's Trade Stop Well, got lucky and found Acronis 2010 at WD's site and swapped images over to the SSD today and have to say even running it off ATA133 its flipping fast! Gonna find a smaller PSU and do some custom work to it and try to find a small case now :-)
Thanks! |

| Re: Judah's Trade Stop Judah, I currently have an ASUS M4A785-M -- AMD 785G Hybrid CrossFire Chipset w/8-ch HD Audio, Gb LAN, S-ATA Raid, USB 2.0, 1 PCI-E MB MOBO with an AMD Athlon™ II X4 620 Quad-Core CPU. Would the Intel MOBO and CPU you have, better, worse or about the same? I may be in the market for a new MOBO and/or CPU very soon if I find out mine is bad. My biggest problem is I have almost nothing to trade with. |

| Re: Judah's Trade Stop Im not Judah but i think that mobo (and Q6600) would be about the same or less than a 785G, but then the MSi one i have sucks. |

| Re: Judah's Trade Stop furball is right, they are almost the same, with the Q6600 being only mildly faster overall.
Honestly the value of the Q6600 lies in upgrading a dual core intel 775 set up, or in combination with the DG33TL which is one of the few 775 boards that can run OSX with relative ease.
Don't get me wrong, it's a very decent setup that I use on a daily basis, but with more modern mATX boards starting at around $50, and the Intel ivy bridge processors starting at $45 for the budget options, your best bet would be to buy newer IMHO. |
