| Re: Official Xoxide Forums Network Folding@home Team! I haven't folded in a while as well.
In Rochester, power wasn't exactly cheap. In VA it's cheaper, but I haven't really used my desktop as of late (and it's been friggen hot).
Since Gas is more expensive here, i might have to fire up FAH during the winter.
BTW i live in the basement too. |

| Re: Official Xoxide Forums Network Folding@home Team! I have been folding for a few weeks now, I don't see my stats going up any at all in the listing, still showing only one work unit done, what gives? |

| Re: Official Xoxide Forums Network Folding@home Team! GPU is generally better then the CPU, unless you have enough cores, the big advanced units that I know some get when using like.. the 8+ core or multiple socket boards get like 100,000 PPD from one system, it's pretty crazy. |

| Re: Official Xoxide Forums Network Folding@home Team! I let my 8core system use 75% when I'm away. I don't like the machine to run to warm all the time. Even though I have a water cooler, It will run 78F to 80F when folding. 68 when Idle. I don't use GPU along with it because the machine would just get to warm. |

| Re: Official Xoxide Forums Network Folding@home Team! I may go for some Folding once Carbide is up. Im toying with the idea of snagging a couple 3870's or 4850's and putting them in the WHS box im building as well. Just not sure there as it means i would need a heavier PSU than i have now if i went more than 3870's. |
