| for me, its 25,000 frames at .7 second a frame
EDIT: we need alot of people to fold with us or we'll never make it to the upper list. Would you guys help fold if i repped you for every x amount of work units that you did? When i rep someone, their rep count goes up by 20...is that an encouragement? |

| ok cool! I've watched as our team status has slowly risen! We need all the help we can get. Since Tehrisingsun works at bestbuy, maybe we can ask him to put all the floormodels on too! |

| <3 administrative priveleges with access to about 300 computers on campus... :) :)
i will be slowly taking great use of Penn State York's brand new dell 2.8GHz machines... ive installed folding on 3 computer so far, (all ive had time for) the only problem with installing this on network machines, it will only be able to load when someone logs on.... unfortunately i dont believe there is any way around this... but nonetheless...
once classes start againin the fall, i hope to have quite a few computers folding... at least 50... but like i said it wont be all that great because it will only work when someone is logged on to do work...
does anyone know a way around this? dont think its possible

| you could set it so that it logs onto the system for you under a sudent/limited account. that way it could fold and people could still use it but not screw anything up. I'll rep you. If i want to be able to rep everyone who folds, i have to ask BHunt to adjust my prividges. Thanks again for folding |

Thanks again for folding | well see the thing is im not allowed to be logged in if im not using the computer, and my admin can see, obviously, that if there are 50 computers that im supposedly using, he knows something's up and that just puts incredible amount of stress on out servers... i could very well lose my job and be banned from the use of the school's technology for abusing my power... i just want to take advantage of these nice systems we have...
does anyone know how i can set it to work on boot? not having logged in?
any ideas are welcome |

There is a way because in one of my classrooms at college it is up as the screensaver before the teacher gets in there to log in. Try setting it as the screensaver because I believe it comes up even if your not logged in.
Edit: Whats is everyones seconds per frame? I kinda curious. Mine right now is 5.8 |

| Not sure buckley. I thought you could go through msconfig, but you need admin access first of all, and i dont think you can add values sadly =\
You might be able to add it to the startup folder in windows and have it start on its own, or start a scheduled task so it starts up every morning.
But at my college, they wipe every computer every night..
Edit: redleader, thats beastly fast, i imagine its a huge one, like a 2500? the frames take less time, but its bigger...so it equals out to like a 250 one.
Im waiting on the timing rinow. gotta finish a few frames before it tells me.
ill update later |
