Default Setting up a wireless bridge

I'm trying to set up a wireless bridge between my two WRT54G routers; both of which are flashed to DD-WRTv24FINAL firmware. I've done the setup similar to the instructions given on the DD-WRT wiki for setting up a Wireless bridge between the two, but the bridge would not form. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for setting up the bridge?
