| I use to know all the ins and outs of Morrowind. Also made a few small mods too. ;) I quit Morrowind last winter and will not touch that game until I get a new system so I can turn most of everything to high and still get good framerates! Before I would get 20 fps on low-medium settings in Vivec. I had a mod that added more things to Vivec so that dropped my fps a LOT. :( |

| man...i wish i had a dollar for every hour i spent in vardenfall. One of the best games I've ever played. I eventually beat the main game and both the expansions and was guild master for a couple of factions, and took out most of the quests in the main game. After that I tackled sword of perithia which in my opinion was better than the main quest!
I know that after I got my 9700 and P4 system with 512 megs ram (at that time) it ran really really good with max details (1280X960) and full view distance and full AI distance. |

| Morrowind is a fantastic game; I love the freedom it give you. I don't think it's big enough to deserve its own forum, however. |

| Morrowind is an AWESOME game.
I don't play it near as much as I used to though...it crashes too darn often (I play on XBox).
Anyone have the Eltonbrand? (I never became a Vampire, so I couldn't...ack)
Arainach: I agree, it should have its own forum. |

| ya that game was really fun... too bad i killed everyone, me and my sword rocked everyone around... i killed and stole the guys in the gold armour, i stole products from a shop keeper and sold them back to him for about the same price he was gonna give them to me, but killing everone comes with a price, no one likes you... so in the end the guys who give you balloon rides (or whatever you want to call it) to the other cityies... so i tryied bribing him (i had 0 respect/reputation), and after 4 bribes of $100 each he still wouldn't take me so i killed him :)... o well it was a good game but i have gotten bored of it |

| I just loaded it last week since upgrading my system. HOLY SMOKES!!
It's running at 1600X1200 with all the settings maxed out (even the shadows). Man...I still can't believe that a game this old can still look THAT good!!
Oh what a long trip it will be again. If I recall correctly, my last guy that I beat all 3 games with, I played for well into 2 years with him. July of 02 if memory serves me correctly. Quote: |

hahahah I had a madman spree myself. I went into TES editor and changed a lot of stuff to make me a superpower. I had a run speed that was hysterical. It looked like a crackhead he was going so fast. That and I had a jump height that I could jump up to that floating island in Vivec from the ground!
It was fun and I managed to go from tip to tip of the island in about 2 minutes flat. now...if only i could find a way to bypass that pesky loading each time your guy enters a new area |

| I love that game! I have the GotY edition on my Xbox... the visuals/graphics are still some of the best out there, dispite the fact that it's a two year old game now. The feel/theme is so different from other RPGs out there, which is why I guess I like it so much.
Speaking of RPGs, I was really looking foward to playing Dragon Empires (an online RPG in development) but they just canceled further development of it a few days ago (after 3 years of hard work by the devs). I thought, finally, an online RPG that will work for 56k (can't get high speed here) and then they turn around and cancel it. |

I think I have about 1200 days logged (Morrowind time, of course)...
I usually slept until my chameleon amulet recharged, then would go off and treasure hunt some more...that's why there are so many days. |
