Default Newegg Open Box motherboards

In about 1.5 weeks, I am going to buy the stuff to build an HTPC. I noticed the motherboard I want to get comes in an open box version as well. I'm wondering if anybody else has purchased an open box motherboard from the 'Egg before, and what was it missing?

Sweet. I think I might go with the open box then. Nothing like saving a few bucks.

Open box means is may or may not come with accessories. Depending on what you would need that could be missing, its still a deal tho. I got an open box mobo once and it was missing the back IO shield. I ordered one from ASUS and got it a week later for $6. Everything else was there, and open box knocked off about $40.

I went with an open box monitor once, didn't last more than 6 months.

it's a gamble, I wouldn't do it with something as critical as my motherboard personally, I like warranties :)

Open box items still have the manufacturer warranty, just no newegg warranty, but who cares right I always RMA with the manufacturer, not the site I got it from.
