Default new mobo question?

if i were to buy a new motherboard and switch it out with the one i have now.....would there be any problems??

is it as easy as just swapping out the boards or is there more to it?

uh, you'd basically be building a new computer, when you change the mobo its generally considered a new build, especially as far as software is concerned, meaning you'd have to reformat and re-install everything, just as if you'd built a new system

your sig shows the A1 680i from eVGA, why would you replace that? its a great board

eh, i dont see any point, you lose some PCIe lanes, and drop down to a midrange chipset, from a top tier chipset

it reviewed really well, and is a good board, but you won't see any performance increases, especially given the hastle of the switch
