Default Question with Asus P5Q Pro LGA 775

Yeah so thats the mobo im going to be ordering for my new build nd I was just wondering what kind of memory do I have to put in this thing ? Im looking to get 4GB for it. Will any DDR2 memory work ? Or does it have to be DDR2 1200 also what would be the best recommendations for RAM in this machine ?

you can pretty much install any DDR2 ram out there.

The official maximum ram speed you can install is DDR2-1200, but you can go higher and lower.

The higher or lower the 1200 number goes the faster or slower the memory will be ?

1200 is the clock speed of the ram.

So you can insert DDR2-533 and it will work and you can go above that.
