What happens to regular users that leave?

Yeah I remember a while back there was some serious flame action on these boards....who here remembers crazymexican....lol he made me laugh on more then one occaision....

oh well....for me it passes the time at work like right now...at work and bored so lets make a post at XFN


OH and when I joined these boards Shauk was the admin....if that takes a few people back.

still in my pm box. I don't remember what brought it about. I remember most of the flaming I was involved in being from political and religion threads. Of course, I was 15 at the time so I probably deserved it.

There were a bunch of big fights because guys like Pvt Package and his CS cronies would troll the boards looking for trouble. Most of the trouble came from the members who joined the forum for casual chat, not having any interest in anything related to computer modifications.

most people lose interest after a while. cant expect too many people to stay active on a forum forever

hey that's me! the looking in the main forum for casual chat, not the trolling thing.

and just about nobody else. Once the xoxide cs servers closed most of them left, and a lot of them never came over here anyway. Unless I'm forgetting some people.

EDIT: god my old posts are awful.

I personally lost interest. A lot of the cool people got banned and the forums just died for a while. Even now, the posts are few and scarce when compared to how it used to be. Hell, even I was an admin here for a little bit. LOL.

I always was on xoxide forums for EVER i would always rush home from school and run to the forums and i was friends with many people. when i really stopped dropping by here was when there were tons of little kids posting "tyte modzzzzz!!!111!!!" and it made the fun of the forum kinda go away. at the same time i got more into other things than just computers i got into cars and jeeps more and serious girlfriends. I think that many people had similar things happen to them also. i drop in every so often and read some threads and stuff maybe ill stick around a little more i have a mod idea of some sort that im going to try to put to gather.

I'm still waiting on that whole "adulthood" thing.

I could launch in to some complaints about the pacing of my life but then that'd open me up for some forum criticism/psych evals from the peanut galleries. :p Generally, no need to share myself any further than that.
