| New song... This is our second song we've written, third song we've recorded. We like it a lot. Forgive our singer's voice...he's getting over strepp right now. So just give me your thoughts. We've been told this is a lot better than some bands so we think we'll be able to get into some shows if we were to submit it to local clubs. http://www.purevolume.com/autumnaetherius
It's Catch & Burn...
The kick drum isn't loud enough. Oh well. Oh and I counted it off too fast so I'm sure I slowed it down.
I think this one's better than the last song I posted... |

| the drums and guitar are so off with each other its sick :disgusted:
the intro really needs to be worked on as the lead guitar is WAY out of sync.
The song overall isn't bad... its just doesn't sound original, more or less like every other emo song out there |

| Dude who's your drummer? He needs to go back to music classes, crap...
No offense but I think you guys need to work on practicing a little bit more. I think you guys have a lot of potential, you just need to sync the instruments. I mean if you guys got a little more experience it sounds like something I'd listen to, so just practice and maybe you'll have a new fan. |

| I do not see much wrong with the drummer.
What makes his off, and what we normally hear - on?
Sounds fine, good luck with the rest. |

How do you expect new ways of music to be done if there is nothing new being played? Grunge comes to mind.

| its out of time! you can't properly play to this. Whats the norm? The norm is music where all the instrumentalists play together! This isn't creativity, its not being able to play in time. Its rushing too fast, and not having solid rolls. |

| I WILL FLAT OUT SAY IT... THERE IS A LACK OF SKILL, PERIOD. The kid is trying to play EMOTIONAL music comparable to the likes of Hawthorne Heights and such... and THAT FOLLOWS A STRICT TIME. THE TIMING IS WHAT DETERMINES THE MUSIC.
Its Jazz because of the style and timing. Theres a such thing as a ROCK beat and SKA beat. Obviously, you really have no musical background if you can't understand this. Its not trying to be creative" or "different" its that theres an obvious lack of skill that while is out of sync... I do believe NTD could easily become an excellent drummer" |

I have pleeeeenty of musical background.
I think you need to open your mind up to other music rather than the mainstream norm you always hear. I do not hear much of anything - pardon the recording devices - that is too terribly bad.

| Well we all know it needs practice. I need to get ahold of a good metronome for one. I'm not saying this should be a final cut to put on an EP. I've found plenty of faults. All I'm saying is I've heard that far worse demos have gotten people into clubs...I'm just curious if you guys think this could get us into some clubs and such. |

Maybe an all ages show in a church basement, but no club will accept bands that can barely play their instruments. Keep practicing. You're on the right track, but you guys should not even consider playing any shows until you've got more experience with your instruments and your songs are pretty tight. Your singer needs vocal lessons ASAP. |

| Alright im gonna be the serious guy here and not beat around the bush.
I hope it wasnt you, cause i dont want to offend you, but whoever was donig backup vocals really sucks. He tries to sing WAY out of his range, and its just not a good song. Work on that.
And your lead singer doesnt have a very good voice either, not horrible, but could use some ironing out. Maybe some vocal lessons, just a thought?

For one he had strepp so he was way off. He's the guy that sang the verses and the backup vocals in the chorus. The other guy leads the chorus and I think he's a really good singer. |
