  |  modded pstwo anyone? About a week ago I sent my pstwo to a person in CA to professionally install a DMS4 pro SE and a hd-connent in my slim pstwo v12. I haven't heard of any progress yet, but this guy has a respectful 28 thread praises about him in the DMS forums, so i dont expect to get burned. I live in PA anyways so it will take a while. Anyways, I just bought a 300gb HDD for it and im stoked about getting it back. installing games to run from the hd, watching avi. movies on my pstwo, ahh it will be a dream. I also plan to make a special case for the pstwo and hd to make it awesome. Its all in my brain. Im gonna try to sketch up some drawings of my ideas and keep you posted on progress of the pstwo and its concepts. Maybe I'll be able to have my first mod on XFN. Anyone else have a modded console? [oh yea i didn't want to install the chip and hd connect myself because those solder points are damn small and the pictures of this guys work is amazing] |

| where at in california? and pstwo is the slim ps2 right? i dunno if i would even take a crack at it, and i've put tons of chips in ps2's |

| Canoga Park, California The man is DAVBERE of the DMS forums. Here is some of his work:    all his stuff is like this. :D Here is my plan [yes i know its a bad drawing]:  I plan it to be abstract and have little pieces of sheet metal cut into starburst like patterns that hang off the corners. The case might need to be bigger than what it is now so i can integrate a cooling solution that will cool both the hd and the pstwo. I was thinking of moutning the hd above like so, so I can put a fan duct in between them both, then I could have vent holes on the hd box and such. | i just modded an xbox last night, and i've done a few playstation 2's ..its not THAT hard to do, but yaeh they are small solder points |

| It seems he got my package Tuesday [according to UPS tracking #] so I hope to receive it back maybe within a week or so [from today]. I can't wait to get started with this. Last night my dad and I went to Home Depot to get a dishwasher SS-hose and I saw all kinds of ideas when I was walking through that aisle. |
