 |  cheap usb tv tuner i bought one of these http://eecrest.com/keyhere/150-1.jpg off of ebay for really cheap and i was thinking that i could just make a converter to convert the antenna plug so that i can plug my cable (as in local cable) into it.. would this be possible? |

 | Re: cheap usb tv tuner You would be hard pressed to find an adapter to fit that to an F type connector. But try looking at Ham Radio supply sites first, maybe digikey as well. |

| Re: cheap usb tv tuner Isnt that card and antenna for receiving the old over-the-air TV signals that are no longer broadcast? If thats the case, I highly doubt that dongle has a digital tuner built into it, making it almost completely pointless even if you could find a way to hook up your coax to it. |

You just need Media Center and it works like a dream. Receives all digital and HD channels. Just don't use the sh***y software that is included with it. Very buggy. |

| Re: cheap usb tv tuner It's a one type of small device.It's used to connect USB TV tuner to more than one PC's with using a usb splitter so that different channels can be open the more than one PC simultaneously.it is also possible preview of all channels together and tuner is used to switch the channels. |
