| Mounting HDD Backwards Ive seen some places that people have mounted their hard drives backwards for better cable management, and I was wondering if there is a special way you have to do this to make sure nothing is damaged. Ive tried looking for some guides but couldn't find any. |

| Nah nothing special.. but if you have front case fans make sure all your cables are clear of them before you boot it up. And its easier to do with sata cables as they are smaller and such. |

| Theres nothing that can be done wrong doing that. I used to have it like that but now that i have front intake fans i dont have room. If you have big fingers like my dad it will be a real pain to plug those things in the sata cable is the worst especially if its short |

| lol, that's pretty funny that someone made an article about this on pcextreme.net. But this is a great idea that I had never thought about until I read the title of this thread. I may just have to flip my hard drive around sometime. |

There isn't any thing that needs to be done but stop and look to see if you have the room for it there are front intake fans.I have alot better air flow and looks good.My case temp droped.I now can keep my fans on low to med.

| you can even take flat, ribbon cables and make them round very easily - I do it all the time - makes them small and compact and easier to deal with.

| In my tsunami, I bent my HDD cage a little so i can turn the HDDs around. I have a ATA one and a SATA drive. both mounted backwards. I definetly need another Sata drive. |

~NortH~ | taking a guess here: you seperate all the individual wires from each other and then bundle them together with zip ties or such? |
