| Request a Guide with the new site MEH Customs, i have created three guides so far. And i was wondering if there are any guides people want to request because they are good for beginners or they don't know how to do it?
i have a top secret guide going on right now that only me and SpydersByte know of. |

Try making your own lazer LED kit.
If you want to I would take up the job for you I guess. I was just about to make a few for my Emerald mod. |

| Re: Request a Guide I've a request: I see, in some of the work-logs, vinyl dyeing for tinting acrylic. I saw the tutorial on using window tint, but I don't think this is the same thing. For one thing, vinyl dyeing seems to have a much larger color selection |

I think even the basics are very useful to put together and in some cases would be expected in a case mod site. Some standards are "guide to how to use a dremel" "guide to how to use a jigsaw" "guide to hole saw use" "guide to sleeving wires" "guide to how to hook up fan controllers" "guide for tips on wm" "guide to cooling tips" "guide for basic water cooling"...the list can go on. The important thing though is that they have to be to a level that even the experts reading these tutorials will go "yup that's the way you do it". So your guides should be acceptable by the real expert modders here like Kikbox, MNPC, NortHWizarD, Grez, and Techdaddy. At least that is what I would expect if I wanted to read and trust any guide. A bad guide can backfire the popularity of the site IMO.
Hey once you get the guides written, link them? I always like reading up on guides.

| Re: Request a Guide I liked the "how to install a LED fan into your PSU" guide in your site. One question. Is a twisted wire covered by a shrink tubing provide strong enough contact to hold two wires together? I tend to use solder when I put two wires together or use some clip to put two wires together, so I was just curious. |

| Re: Request a Guide Uhh
you might want to add a HAZARD warning to your psu guide.
Everyone might want to go add an LED light to their psu, and if they touch the wrong thing... |

I had some OLD 12 x 12 clear sheets. I used 600 grit, then 1000 Grit, then 2000 grit. After that, I use a metal polish called Never Dull to polish it up. You could also use a buffer with Brasso metal polish. Both worked very well and both are very inexpensive.
I'll post pics when I update some work logs I have later but if you have a sheet with some minor scratches, just use the 2000 to polish out the scratch and use Never Dull or Brasso to polish it up. A nice coat of wax will help the shine and make it easier to clean.
All sanding is done as Wet Sanding. I did this in my Kitchen sink with warm water. |

If other's can do the same, we could combine them all for a quick guide. ^_^ |
