 |  Vista swap file I have 4 gb of memory. Do i need the swap file? If so how much should I allocate? Thx for the help. |

  | Re: Vista swap file You always need a swap file. Let it auto allocate. If you have more than one hard drive you might get some performance gain by splitting it amongst the drives. |

| Re: Vista swap file Ok thx. Thats what im going with currently. Guess I will stick with it. Didnt really know because some where i read that if had enough ram then you could ditch the swap file for a performance boost. Its probably safer to stick with it. |
