| Computer Speakers - LOUD! I have an old pair of Altec Lansing Speakers and a 10w rms altec lansing subwoofer as of right now. They are not too old, the speakers are still good but they are starting to come in a little scratchy and the subwoofer, nicknamed "thumpy", can still shake my entire dorm, not just my room but the entire building. But now I am looking for something more powerful, maybe in the 50w rms range. When I play Black Label's "Fire It Up" I want the whole campus to hear and feel it. Anyone know of or have a good setup to recommend? |

| 10rms sub? I have a 180rms sub. You can hear it down the block(s). If we are on the bragging game...
anyways just get a receiver or something decent, my biggest problem is portability when I want a full on stereo setup. |

| ...the B&W 601's are what I linked in the picture...each run at 100watts. They have a really nice soundstage and...they are decent in size.
I've heard many different Klipschs speakers, although they are powerful, their soundstage is in your face, giving it a harsh sound. http://www.bwspeakers.com/index.cfm/...ion/local.main
pick out any one there...I love the B&W sound...and I'll never leave it...besides the fact that these things will last forever.
If you don't believe me, find a dealer, and ask to listen to klipschs and then B&W's...the difference is noticable to even the casual listener. |
