Default thermaltake VS. thermaltake

i have my eye on 2 things... the thermaltake damier 6000A (aluminum) and the thermaltake 5000A (black steel one)... which one should i get.. is the aluminum that big of a difference.. i really need someones opinion.. i don't go to lan parties... i just want a thermaltake case.. is there really a big difference other than wieght.. the cost is a lot more...

I would go for the Aluminum one it absorbs heat better and it lighter. but the price is better for the steel one. Just get the Aluminum.

I'm fairly sure it's just the weight.

Chieftec are in a similar situation with their Dragon series--they have a silver alu. edition.

I doubt that theres any other difference such as enhanced airflow etc. as that wouldn't make sense to me.

Go with the aluminum. Far better for cooling as it disapates heat. Plus the weight of the steel sucks!

one of my rigs has a steel thermaltake case, The wingo series and right now its 79*f out side and on air its getting Mobo 29*f Cpu diode 25*f CPU 32*f sitting idle. there not bad cases at all, but go alum it will transfer the heat better the my steel
