How large is your case???

160 mm & 180 mm fans would be huge! that would take up the ENTIRE front or back of the case width. Is this some kind of custom job?

Your best bet might to look on some industrial supplier. Those fans would be far too rare for any computer part store to carry and make any profit off on them.

wow 160 and 180 is HUMOUNGOUS! the only place you'd be able to put a fan like that is at the very front of your full size case taking up the whole width! 18 centimeters! it wouldn't even fit at the back because of the motherboard! i haven't ever seen a radiator that would fit a fan of that size. maybe use some car radiator fans?! haha

Way to bring up an long-dead thread back to life. *sigh*

Anyhow, the width of my entire case is 7.7 inches, or 195 mm. And that is a tower case. However, there is a lot less room inside because of the mainboard sub-tray.

I guess a fan that large would be fastened to the outside of the case. That might work, and would allow for lots of cooling if a large enough hole was cut into the case.

looks like you should check out the fans for server machines. We build those here at work and the huge panaflo fans we use push rediculous amounts of air but you can hear them a mile away :o
