Question Cold Cathode Wires?

I am installing some of 12" cold cathode and LED lights, that I bought off Xoxide in my car. I have had no problems running 12v wire for the LEDs and Cold Cathodes. I have everything but the cold cathode tubes installed. This is where I ran into a problem... I need to lenghten the wires that connect the CC tubes to the inverter. The packaging says the inverter output voltage is 680v. I'm kinda stumped, since I can't find any wires rated this high...... So any suggestions on where I can get additional wire to run between the CC tubes and inverter?

My car will light up like a fricken christmas tree when I'm done!

Thanks for the help,
Mikaila31

You don't need special wire. Pretty much any wire should probably be fine.

So I can use like regular lamp cord between the tubes and the inverter? I don't need wire rated for 680v?

I have to run each lamp a couple feet.

You could, but 16ga speaker wire should do the trick also. Use butt connectors, or shielded spade/bullet connectors to extend them.
