| What I'm trying to figure out, is the purpose of a secondary Mini ITX rig. What could someone possibly achieve with it that he couldnt do with his main rig? Especially with Dual Core CPUs becoming the norm, i really can't find any use to a second PC inside the same tower.
Apparently I'm not the only one puzzling over this, since Thermaltake themselves made a contest on their website about the best way to use the Mozart TX. And after checking most answers, I can see people still dont have a clue how to use it.
Dont get me wrong, I think this case is great, but I will only buy it if someone comes up with a clever way to use the Mini ITX part. Otherwise half of the case is just wasted space... |

| I may or may ot use the mini-itx yet... unsure... but for sure I am getting one of these cases... just think of the water cooling possibilities... they are endless... as good as a mountain mods ufo case for doing the water cooling!

Have your gaming rig and a seperate HTPC in the same case. Record TV while you play games. |

| I had the perfect Idea for it.. Maybe I should go enter the contest.
Ok.. If any of you use ths idea I will find you and kick your ass.. ;) No Seriously I will kick your ass... :p
I would run a storage server as one system and then I would use the second system as a transcoding server. This way I could stream in any format I need with out it affecting the load on the storage subsystem. This would allow me to watch my XVID/DVIX files on lets say Xbox with out having to convert all of them to supported formats. It could just transcode it when I wanted to watch thru an XBOX or other device like PDA or cell phone. Kinda like the sling box, but with more power and options |

That is a great idea, but I wouldn't steal it from ya. |

It can't fit in my desk, it's going to weigh a lot, would be annoying to go to lans unless you host them yourself, mostly pointless innovations, it costs enough to make me think, do I want a new case that supports a 2nd pc? or just buy a complete 2nd pc? | Have to agree and let you know you're not the only one who thinks it's foolish. I prefer Tt's sfuff it's pretty good, usually quiet and lasts. Sorta reminds me of Tammy Fay Baker, just a tad over the top and for what? Nothing I would put in a living room which I believe it's targeted at with the HTPC reference. Looks more like a kitchen appliance than a computer, cross between a microwave and a trash compactor. Sorta like my rant about it, useless :) |

| Very nice, not too bad of a price either.
Should put a suggestion at the bottom of that case's page though..."Would you like to purchase a 24"/36" IDE cable with your order?" =P |

| The only thing now is either Xoxide offering the 7" LCD screens for it, or supplying a link to a place where we can get them - that is one of the nice things about that case... the ability to install and use a 7" LCD screen in the front.
The 7" LCD could be hooked to the mini-itx system and your normal screen to the whoop-ass gaming system in the other side!
And like another poster brought up... you will probably have to order longer IDE cables to get to the optical drives... hdd's should be fine though.
I am very seriously contemplating getting this case and doing a serious mod project with it - it has 'massive water cooling system' written all over it... heck you can easily put 2 - dual 120mm rads in the top at the back - it already has 4 x 120mm fan holes there, or could easily put in a pair of triple 120mm rads in the top of the case without any troubles.

| We are looking into the screen and the other optional items. Thermaltake cases usually hit the US slightly before their optional add-ons become available here, so I would keep checking back frequently.
More cool info: Thermaltake Mozart TX |
