That's just the starter pack, I'll give you the full pack once you take the training wheels off.

ON AN ON TOPIC NOTE,

I am going to fix this case properly.

Step one is to find a replacement for rivets. I don't want to go spend $20 on a riveter I'll never touch again, so I'm trying to find another way to fasten these panels. I'm thinking of using some flat head bolts that are small enough, I think the local Radioshack has some very tiny ones.

Any ideas?
I sometimes use screws that are compatible with the case... honestly can't tell the difference and i never had a problem... maybe some glue that is easy to remove?

EDIT: If you give me a punctuation pack I will stay out of your threads. I'm dead serious.

Lol...ok? and that's a threat? People need to learn to talk/type at least half way decently.

Actually, it's not incorrect to begin a sentence with "And." It's just not strong style. That, and it should be followed by a comma to be correct.

But, since his error was in the sentence that pertained to spelling (not overall grammar), I only corrected his spelling, not his writing style; that was the only truly ironic item, and thus it was where I focused.

Ok, now: [/OT]

Please, for real this time, guys. Back to BK's focus in this thread.

Man BK, that desk would drive me nuts!!

I can't stand to not have my legs under the desk, or resting on something.

I can relate, I'm staying with a buddy during the weeks while i'm at my new unit and I don't have a desk. My monitor sits in front of the PC on a tall dresser, (chest?). If I sit on the edge of the bed, with my back straight the monitor is eye level.

Ack, I have a back ache right now, I have been at my new build (updates and stuff) for about three hours now.

I need to crash, sigh

for some reason this thread makes me think of Red Green with the duct tape and on another end of the spectrum it reminds me of Sean Connery on Celebrity Jeopardy (dunno why) "Sean Connery : I'll take THE RAPISTS for seven thousand Trebeck! Alex Trebeck: That's THERAPISTS not THE RAPISTS.."

...

I'll stop talking :o

I havnt modded in years but when I did I found zip ties to be my solution for everything. They totally replace nuts and bolts "without the grounding ability" Buy a rivetter and then return it after use because you found one cheaper on ebay or craigs list.

You can usually get a cheap one at auto parts stores or Big/Odd Lots. And youd be surprised at what youd use it for once you have one :)

UPPDATEEEEEE:

Amazing what $12 can do for a PC. Bought new fasteners for the case, and a cheap coat or three or five of some crappy Krylon paint. Not perfect, but damn it's better than duct tape. The side panels are off now to be painted, and the switches in the front will control:

1) 12" White CCFLs
2) 12" Blue CCFLs
3) White 120MM exhaust and white 80mm intake
4) (when I buy it) backlit etched plexi with logo for false floor.

My photography is terrible, it doesn't look as bad as the pics seem to make it look.

Custom mesh fan grill on the 120 in the back, white LED swapped out at front, about 10 minutes spent on WM (lol) and holes and indents cut out in about 10 places for WM ease.

noooo you ruined it! >:O. But seriously it's a nice turnaround. After you took off the duct tape did you have fun getting the adhesive off?
