Thank you. The raptor will be running windows XP and used only for gaming. I'll partition my TB drives in a way that I will be running Ubuntu, Vista (windows7 when it comes out), OSX86, Free BSD, and free space for testing purposes (I always beta test systems I'm interested in). Now I don't reallly need all of that, I just love software :) and I use certain OS's to do certain things.

Now if I weren't the way I am with my OS's I'd have the raptor with XP for gaming and a 200 gb drive for ubuntu... But two terabytes are more fun :P

The whole set up was done Friday night to Saturday. Specs in sig.

The DFI goodness under the main blacklight only:

The Q9450 sexiness:

Working (such a great picture):

Finally all set and running:

Without UV:

With UV:

I am pretty disappointed with how my UV lights will react with my board. It's simply because I have too many bright blue LED fans. If they were UV, it'd react better, I believe. But overall, I'm happy with the result anyway.

All my specs are in the sig. And my next upgrade is GTX280. I will start saving for it and hope to come across a real good deal, maybe through someone I know. :P

Okay, so I made this thread like three years ago so I could gather ideas on how to design my work/computer area. I kind of forgot all about it until today. I logged on and saw that my three year old thread had hundreds of replies. I'm not complaining or anything. but I feel kind of guilty.

I feel that I made the "Case Gallery" section of the forums irrelevant because everyone is posting in my thread instead of the actual section, which makes the section kind of meaningless.

It seems that everyone is enjoying the thread, and I'm probably the only person who is irritated by this. But anywho... keep it going!

You are feeling guilty for creating a thread where hundreds of people have happily posted their work? Heck we all should feel so guilty. There are similar type threads in other major forums and I constantly visit here to see the updates to this thread. +1 rep for creating this thread.

Just finished my PC last night (Finally!) Here's a pic,

This thing just chews up Crysis, I'll post some benchmarks later. I love having this thing on my desk, but as you can see I don't have a single inch of free space... But who really cares? :P

I'll bite. Years of trying to keep this old hag alive with upgrades and fixes, wiremanagement goes waay out the window
