yeah i used my dremel alot with bondo for my project and it works awesome... just expect ALOT of dust lol... i recommend that you wear eyeglasses for sure and also a breathing mask, cause it tosses up alot of dust...

for small stuff i recommend using a pointed diamond bit, and for larger stuff and lines you should definetly use a small thin cutoff disk... you can see what i used and how i used it in my thread seen here... (look at pages 8 and 11)

just remember that the dremel will cut through the bondo like butter... it makes it easy to form, but easy to mess up too... i hope this helps, and hope it works out for you, and just ask if you need to know anything else;)...

btw, lets see some pics when youre done!:)

Happy Modding!

Remember that Bondo is essentially plastic resin - getting too aggressive with the RPM's will melt it and clog the bits you're using . . .

IMO - while diamond bits may work, they're "overkill", and unnecessary. Just use the cheaper engraving and cutter bits that are commonly available.

(I'm not dissing Bradish's advice - If you already have diamond bits, by all means, use 'em)

If you're mixing the Bondo before applying it, use slightly less hardener than you normally would - the resin will take a bit longer to "kick", but when it's cured it will be more pliable. Too much hardener will make it brittle and prone to cracking; and create more dust when re-working it . . .
