    |  backwards leds? ok i bought a value pack of leds from rapeshack and for some reason the clear red ones only work backwards, like the long pin is ground. all the others work fine, can this happen of does it have something to do with the resistor. i bought a value pack of those but i found the 100ohm ones (brown black black black brown) bad wiring or weird bulb? wiring.....molex----resistor----long pin---LED----short pin------molex |

| maybe they just got wired wrong, a backwards batch? guy was drunk and clipped the wrong side? |

| well leds only work one way. without a resistor they work fine, when i put a resistor on, they only work backwards, i dunno!> i guess ill just see if they fry themselves. |

| oh hey i wouldnt worry about it... i bought some radio shack red leds and i had to use the long end for ground, which is weird, but theye been working for 4 months, so they should be ok:) |

| well, companies just do it differently. i just go by the bulb on the inside usually. Edit: if you need led's go to my led thread in b/s/t forum. im selling them really cheap and much brighter then anything that radioshack has to offer. |

| see thats just it, i know the smaller part is the power (inside) and thats backwards too. |

| radio shack is a rather discount parts store not the best not the worst but as long as they work what's the problem |
