does this stuff look good when used? how many coats should be used? and what color looks best?

Color is a matter of opinion. Yes it can look good, if you put it on too think it turns a yellowish color.

i did my mobo and some fans and it looks pretty sweet. only thing is it needs direct uv light. most uv fans are semi-transparent so they allow the whole fan to light up. im pleased though

Try orange and yellow, I'm not so sure about the pink. It looks good if you paint your mobo, just be sure to cover it with newspaper or any kind of paper.

wal-mart has some flouresent brush on paint by the fabric.
They have some spray on flourescent rustolem by the spraypaint too.

yes anything flourescent is UV reactive, it is the pigments in it. Just like high lighter markers or flourescent fabric paint ect ect.

is ther anything better about Uv paint than flourescent paint? or are they the same exact thing? cuz i want a CLEAR coat on my motherboard and i want it to show up ONLY up uv light

So Painting the ugly purple fan mounts in my chieftec Flourescent Green(the Rustoleum one) The a UV Green of #$%@ing $15 Clear Neon and then a Clearcoat was redundant?
