Rules and Guidelines of the Buying/Selling/Trading Xoxide Forum
Moderator: TheHumbleLobster

(1) You must post a price for any item that you are buying or selling. If you do not post a price your thread will be locked and it will not be reopened til you PM either myself (TheHumbleLobster) or a SuperMod with a price.
(2) Provide information about the item you are buying/selling/trading. If you provide adequate information your item will sell faster due to people having to ask less questions.
(3) If you post and it is not directly related to the thread (i.e. you are not interested in buying or selling the item) your post will be deleted and you will be warned. Subsequent offenses will result in a ban.
(4) This place is not eBay, do not link to any auctions or else your thread gets deleted and you lose store points.
(5) Only the buyer or seller may bump a thread. Bumps by anyone else will be deleted.
(6) Only one bump per 24 hours is permitted in the Sell section. Multiple bumps will lead to a warning and deletion of posts. If this becomes a problem for you then you will get a ban from these forums.
(7) Selling of Xoxide gift cards/coupon codes is prohibited, and doing so will result in a temporary ban from the B/S/T. Doing so more then once will result in a permanent ban from the B/S/T forums.
(8) Conduct all negotiations in private (i.e. PM's, AIM, MSN, Yahoo, etc.). Doing so in the thread needlessly moves the thread and clutters the forum.
(9) Once the deal is completed it is the buyer and seller's responsability to leave feedback either in our Feedback forum or on Heatware.
(10) Only one thread per member at a time. Multiple threads will be deleted and you will be warned. Multiple warnings will result in a banning.
(11) Absolutely no posting of warez, crackz, etc. Doing so will result in a ban.

Flaming will NOT be tolerated on these forums any longer. Any flaming will result in an instant banning. Also, questioning either my or any other moderators' decisions or actions publically will result in an instant banning.

Effective September 17th, 2004

All new threads no longer need to have the FS, FT, or WTB in thier title's because of the new layout. Howerever, I do ask that you please put the name of the item you are buying/selling/trading in the title instead, and please post in the correct subforum to make my life easier.

I will not go back and edit all the old threads, but all new threads must conform to this new format.

Also starting today, no more selling of Gmail Invites. It is not fair to sell them when others are giving them away.

NO OTHER RULES HAVE CHANGED, AND ARE STILL IN EFFECT.

Reporting A Bad Thread:

If you see a thread that has violated any of these guidelines then please use the report post button on the user tool bar. This will alert me as well as the other mods of a post that needs to be fixed. By using this button we can keep our forum cleaner and smoother for us to browse.
