I'm considering going up to 3 (maybe 4) since the drives are relatively cheap. plus I could use the storage regardless.

Guess I forgot to enable SLI on the old scan lol
Don't even comment on the background! I used the default 'Characters' theme without realizing how colorful it was lol.

| Re: Win7 Scores the only difference faster hdd's will make in games is quicker load times while loading maps and on startup. it won't increase your fps.
your 285s are only 512mb? that sucks... that's a lot of gpu power that's going to be somewhat limited at your resolution. i'm not suggesting an upgrade though, 2x gtx285 is plenty of power. |

| Re: Win7 Scores oops 1024, my bad I always get confused because the specs on my computer never say 1024 (x2 with SLI) so I always assume to divide it. Thx for that. |

| Re: Win7 Scores Here's mine after a new assessment.
Processor 6.9
Memory 7.2
Graphics 7.5
Gaming graphics 7.5
Primary hard disk 5.9
I'm actually surprised at my HDD score considering my drive is a 3 year old 500gb with only 16mb cashe (I think).
My graphic score is a bit more than I expected as well, but I have it running at 960/1301 currently.
The rest of my hardware is in my sig.
I'd really like to upgrade my cpu and add another vid card, but that probably won't happen anytime soon. Maybe, if the processor prices keep dropping :) |

| Re: Win7 Scores I winder if I ever really looked at these scores on my rig. I think I did once but don't remember them. I will have to check when I get home. I am sure I maxed out the HD score and GPU, need to see what the XMP memory profile ranks and the cpu with out any real OCing. |

CPU - 7.2 Q6600
Ram - 7.1 4gb Crucial Ballistix
GFX - 7.7 HD5850
Gaming GFX - 7.7

| Re: Win7 Scores We have some older tough books at work we just got in from Iraq. We are trying to get them onto our network but we cant run no less than Vista Enterprise. But the toughbooks only have 256MB of RAM and vista enterprise needs atleast 2gigs. We installed WIN 7's today on one just to see what would happen. Runs like a dream on only 256MB's.. LOL! |
