| Water cooling helps with the voltages. The Opty maxed at 39ºC at 1.65V.
That RAM was at 2-3-3-7-1T.
New RAM is still being tested, but I have 2.8GHz @ 2-2-2-5 . |

| Whiteboy, your time should be a lot closer to mine. I was running the memory at 270, your at 300. Plus I didn't do any tweaks and that's my son rig. There were a ton of thing running at the time. Aim, his Itunes, windowblinds, etc. |

| I'm getting there. That 3.0+ wasn't entirely stable the way I had it set up. Better results will follow. |

| I just saw that your timings are 2-3-3-7, is that right? At 300, plus over 3ghz, you should break into 27 seconds. |

| my college's library just got a few "new" computers, and today during a class I loaded cpu-z and super pi on them. All cpu-z told me was its a P4 running at 3.1XXXghz and theres 1GB of ram. I ran super pi and the time was just terrible, I quit the test after it got to 7 it was over a minute! |

| i've noticed unless you have fast ram, your fast cpu means nothing in Super Pi. your cpu cache and core also play a LARGE role |

| cache is a huge factor, and this even more evident now that we've seen the E6400vsE6600 spi runs. at the same clocks the E6400 get owned. |

Yeah, having only 512 KB of cache is killing me. That, and the fact that my board maxes out at only (CPU + .4), leaving me stranded at 1.65. With load temps at 35C I know I can go higher. |

| I'm going to make a small change to the winner process. instead of making a random number generator on my calc, i'm going to kill two birds with one stone and make a java based one for school and use it to find the winner. ^_^
it's not really important enough to post about, but i just wanted to yet yall know
edit: lol, i suck at java
I just need to figure out how to save that to a variable, and round it to the nearest whole number, and I'd say I'm set. Even if I cant get the program workin, who cares, I think my AP Calculus skills will allow me to round the number with ease ^_^
