| I've got a a quick question.
can I enter in two categories? I've got both a E6300 and a 2.4, soon to be 3.2 northwood.
Is it possible for me to enter in both categories?
Thanks |

| I know this is only my second post but these forums have been my number one source of computer stuff for the last seven months or so.
I managed to get my time down to 34.531 on my Prescott, but I won't post a picture of it until I get my 50 post requirement which I doubt I'll be able to do.
But I wish all of you the best of luck in this contest. |

| Since this thread was redone, does that cancel out my first post?
Sorry if this is getting off topic. |

| Zambardi, try lowering your HTT multiplier. Try 4x first, then see if it will run any faster at 3x when you go past 300mhz fsb..

| Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to give you a run for your money anymore, Burton. The CPU I was using fried yesterday after I tried remounting the waterblock.
It's never a good thing when brown oil comes out of your CPU. |

| well your screenshot shows that your HT link is 1140.4 which is 2280.8 with a multiplier of 5x. the reason why you cant push your cpu anymore is because the HT link is getting too freakishly high. so if you drop it down to 4x, it will also lower the HT link from 1000 to like 800 (something like that). it will allow you to increase your cpu speed and fsb until you get around the 300's, then your ht link will get freakishly high again and your cpu wont go any further. so at that point, set it at 3x, and your cpu "should" allow you to go past 300mhz in your fsb and also provide a greater cpu overclock. hope ur not confused :) |

| CPU multi and HTT multi are different.
We are reccomending that you lower your HTT multi to 4x. It should allow you to overclock further. |

| Ok, i found it and tried some stuff. Even when getting to 4x HTT Multi, i still just got 232 FSB. Im not sure whether the voltage is too low / high, or something else. But when i push it any further i get " Not convergent in SRQ05" Or something. Either that or i get a blue screen with text. Any suggestions? |
